Hard Target Solutions was founded in 2018. But the Journey of Hard Target started way back in 1996 with an enlistment into the United States Marine Corps. This is where John developed the skill set of leadership and integrity. After only serving one year, John was selected for the elite honor of attending and graduating from the U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper School in Quantico, Virginia. John finished his service in the Marine Corps assigned to a special operations anti-terrorism unit. Durning which time, he provided protection for U.S. Presidents, the Pope, and other high level government officials.

He then began an 18 year career in Law Enforcement spanning two states and agencies. This time was spent within SWAT and training development. John’s completed hundreds of various operations with Federal, State, and Local authorities to include the U.S. Secret Service and the FBI’s HRT Team.

During this time John traveled the country teaching and developing “Active Threat” tactics, policy, and procedures for police departments and private businesses. He began to develop his own Foundational Training Methods for Law Enforcement, military, and government special response groups.

John then took an assignment within the U.S. Government working closely with Tier 1 anti-terrorism units across the globe in support of the world wide war on terror. Working closely with foreign units to protect world leaders and critical infrastructure to include U.S. Embassies abroad.

Hard Target Solutions is located in Gainesville, Florida but serves clients all over the world in protective services, personal security, firearms, and tactics instruction.
