Frequently asked questions

Q: Are the only classes you offer the ones listed on your website?

A: Not at all. We run an average of 130 courses a year, and about 90% of them are custom, private sessions arranged through text, email, or phone call. The classes listed on our website are simply public offerings — a way for people to find us and sign up easily.

If none of the listed dates or topics work for you, that’s fine. Most of our clients reach out directly, and we set up a custom course tailored to their needs, schedule, and skill level.

Whether it’s firearms, trauma care, CQC, or emergency preparedness — if you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask.

Q: Do you teach Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church groups, or other community organizations?

A: Absolutely. We regularly work with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church safety teams, youth programs, and other community groups. In fact, we run our Horizons & Heroes Academy multiple times a year for exactly this reason.

If you have a group that wants training — whether it’s emergency preparedness, first aid, situational awareness, or something more advanced — just call, email, or reach out. We’re happy to build something specifically for your group’s needs.

Q: Do you offer seminars for retirement homes, elderly communities, or the general public?

A: Yes, we do — and in fact, we’re proud to offer many of these at no cost.

Our Personal Protection Seminar Series is specifically designed for seniors, retirement communities, and general public groups, and we provide these absolutely free of charge. These sessions cover topics like situational awareness, home safety, medical emergencies, and basic self-protection.

If you’re part of a community that could benefit from one of these seminars, just reach out — we’ll take care of the rest.

Q: I don’t see the emergency management or preparedness service I’m looking for — can you still help?

A: Yes — just ask.

Our website only scratches the surface of what we offer. We cover the full spectrum of emergency management and preparedness, including:

  • CPR, trauma, and first aid training

  • Firearms instruction and concealed carry permitting

  • Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) development for businesses, schools, and churches

  • Team building for response and safety teams

  • Physical security assessments and planning

If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, chances are — we still do it. Hard Target Solutions is your go-to resource. It all starts with a question. Call, text, or email — we’re here to help.
