














Intermediate Handgun CCW Course - May 31st - Ares Training Facility
This intermediate-level course is the second step in our self-defense handgun training program, building on the skills developed in our foundational course. Designed for students with basic firearm handling and safety proficiency, this class focuses on applying those fundamentals in dynamic, real-world scenarios.
What You’ll Learn:
• Draw stroke and presentation from concealment
• Getting off the X and engaging with 360° threat awareness
• Lateral and forward movement, turns (180°, left, right)
• Multiple threat engagement
• Critical thinking under pressure
• Combat and stress reloads
• Non-traditional shooting positions
• One-handed shooting and manipulation (strong and support hand)
• Introduction to cover, concealment, and points of dominance

This live-fire course has a 1:1 student-to-instructor ratio to ensure high-quality, focused instruction. You’ll engage in practical, scenario-driven drills that simulate high-stress environments to prepare you for real-life defensive encounters.
